Deploying: Paper & Live
Run your strategy automatically — simulated or with real capital — in one click.
From the builder, results page, or a strategy card, click Deploy.
Choose a mode
- Paper Trading — simulated fills on live prices with virtual capital. No broker order is placed. Always available.
- Live Trading — real orders via your broker. Requires the account-level Live switch (Settings → Security) and a connected broker.
Configure
- Broker — optional for paper (data feed only); required for live.
- Risk Guardrails — pre-filled from your defaults; adjust max daily loss, trade count and position size before launching.
Launch
Click Deploy. The strategy spins up in its own isolated runner and shows as RUNNING. Outside market hours it sits idle and starts trading automatically at the next session open (Mon–Fri 09:15 IST).
The dashboard header shows running/paused/stopped counts, live P&L and your paper fund. Kill All squares off and stops every deployment at once.
